ALE Is Moving to a New Learning Platform
Assisted Living Education is preparing to launch a new learning management system designed to provide students with an updated online learning experience.
The transition is tentatively scheduled for June 29, 2026. During the transition period, both the current Litmos platform and the new Absorb learning portal will remain in use. The platform students should access will depend on when their course was purchased.
Which Learning Platform Should I Use?
Courses Purchased Before June 29, 2026
RCFE Administrator Students and all other CEU students who purchased courses before the transition date will continue accessing and completing those courses through Litmos.
Staff Training Subscription students may use either systems up until September 30, 2026, however, we highly recommend to transition to using the new Absorb LMS for appropriate course completion tracking.
Existing course progress and materials will remain available in the Litmos student portal. These courses must be completed before the Litmos platform is retired on September 30, 2026.
If you have completed courses in Litmos and would like to retain copies of your certificates, you must download them before September 30, 2026.
Courses Purchased On or After June 29, 2026
Students who purchase courses on or after the transition date will access their courses through the new ALE learning portal powered by Absorb.
After completing a purchase, students will receive an email containing the appropriate login information and instructions for accessing their courses.
Check Your Purchase Confirmation Email
The easiest way to confirm which learning portal to use is to review the email received after purchasing a course. That message will include the correct platform and course-access instructions.
Students should not create a second account or attempt to access a different learning platform unless instructed to do so by Assisted Living Education.
